Welcome!

I’m Zarah Emry, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I have devoted my career to working with neurodivergent individuals including those with Autism, ADHD, and intellectual/developmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy and Down Syndrome.

I am also passionate about helping those who support people with different needs. Since I am a trained behavior analyst, I offer parent collaboration to work on managing challenging behaviors, developing successful routines, increasing communication and more.

I have extensive experience working in a number of different settings. I was fortunate to work in both public and therapeutic day schools supporting kids from early childhood all the way through transition programs. During this time, I provided support and consultation in both special education and general education settings. I have also worked in adult services including group homes, day programs, and intermittent living programs.

I spent a number of years working for Illinois Crisis Prevention Network where I helped people with severely challenging behaviors maintain their placement in their schools, programs, and homes.

I look forward to connecting you with you!
